About PADANG RELIEF SOCIETY

Founded in 2005, Padang Relief Society (PRS) is dedicated to meeting the physical, educational and spiritual needs of orphans, widows and the most deprived communities throughout the South Sudan. Inspired by our faith in God, we serve all people, regardless of ethnicity, gender or creed.

Padang Relief Society is a registered Canadian charitable organization based in Vancouver in Canada with field office in Malakal in South Sudan. Besides, Padang Relief Society is legally registered as the local organization with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs in South Sudan.

Spending of funds is confined to board approved projects. Each restricted contribution designated toward the board approved projects will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a project has been met, or can not be completed for any reason determined by the board. The remaining restricted contributions designated for such project will be used where needed most.
