The Mission of Participation House, Markham is to be a leader in enhancing the quality of life of individuals with disabilities through a continuum of services designed to reflect individualized approaches, community involvement, and a respect for human dignity.

About Participation House, Markham

We have been providing services and supports to adults with physical and developmental disabilities for over 47 years in our community. We operate seven unique locations providing residential and day programs. We serve and support more than 110 individuals at these locations, through group living sites where residents live in a communal setting with 24-hour support care staff, and supportive housing projects where adults with disabilities live independently in their own apartments with 24-hour on-site care.
