Pastors in Exile (PiE) is an entrepreneurial ministry in Kitchener-Waterloo working in particular with young people struggling with or disillusioned by traditional church. 

We are an Anabaptist-rooted movement that is passionate about explore the margins of Christianity - and connecting young adults to vibrant faith experiences. 

We have a number of regular groups that meet including:

Feminist Bible Study: A weekly group for those who identify as women to explore Scripture from a feminist perspective.

Queerly Christian: A safe space for LGBTQ+ Christians to explore the intersections of faith and sexuality/gender identity in a welcoming community.

Watershed Discipleship: A place to learn about becoming a follower of Jesus in a particular watershed or ecosystem. How might faith help us respond to our ecological realities?

We have an active blogging community, and are involved in pastoral care, leading workshops & retreats, and preaching in local churches. We are a resource for the church, young people on their spiritual journey, and Waterloo Region as a whole.
