Our Mission

Pegasus Community Project believes that all people are entitled to the opportunity to participate in the life of their community and to grow as individuals. Pegasus was founded to provide these opportunities to adults with developmental disabilities and to provide the support they may require to benefit from them.

Pegasus believes that the health and vitality of a community are enhanced when its members help each other. Pegasus strives to create an environment that promotes mutual support, dignity, and respect.

About Pegasus

Pegasus provides adults with developmental disabilities day support on a year long basis. We offer small, individualized programs in a wide range of activities, including fitness, life skills, employment and volunteering.

Pegasus also operates a Thrift Store which is staffed by Pegasus participants, support staff and community volunteers.

The members of Pegasus have many levels of support needs, ranging from those who have multiple disabilities and may require nursing care to those who are working towards a more independent life.
