Our Mission

To own, organize, manage and financially support Buddhist Meditation Centres of the Pema Lingpa lineage of Buddhism.

To organize, manage and financially support public Buddhist teachings and meditation instruction and practice by teachers of the Pema Lingpa lineage of Buddhism resident in Canada.

To support the residence of teachers of the Pema Lingpa lineage of Buddhism in Canada who are direct disciples of the currently recognized Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche of Bhutan and of his successors.

To organize, manage and financially support the visits in Canada of Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche in order to provide religious empowerments and teachings of the Pema Lingpa lineage of Buddhism.

To own, organize, manage and financially support retreat facilities in Canada for the use of Buddhist Meditation Centres of the Pema Lingpa lineage and other aligned groups.

To own, organize, manage and financially support the translation and publication of texts and orally presented teachings of the Pema Lingpa lineage of Buddhism and also classical Buddhist texts of other lineages, in paper and digital electronic formats.

To organize, manage and financially support charitable activities that benefit the local community, where the Buddhist Meditation Centre is located, in a manner developed by the membership.

About Pema Lingpa Society of Canada

We are a Buddhist meditation centre of the Vajrayana Nyingma Pema Lingpa lineage. Our purpose is to practice compassionate activity in our community and the world. We follow the inner path of Buddhism in order to perfect our ability to bring benefit to all the sentient beings of the universe. We welcome your support and donations in order to fund the costs of our Buddhist Dharma centres and the compassionate activities of our groups.
