Our Mission

Peninsula Streams Society undertakes and coordinates stream restoration and preservation efforts on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, BC. Peninsula Streams Society also presents several environmental education programs to students on the Saanich Peninsula.

The purposes of the society are to:

1. To develop, organize and participate in environmental programs and projects on the Saanich Peninsula.

2. Educate and increase the understanding of the public, students, government and press about environmental restoration and preservation.

3. Conduct research relating to the environment and disseminate the results of such research.

About PENINSULA STREAMS SOCIETY

Peninsula Streams Society, a registered charity, was formed in the mid 1990's and formally incorporated as a society in 2002. We recieve broad based support from individuals, small businesses and local government. Funding is used to implement and support our environmental restoration and enducation programs.
