Purpose:  To provide a supply of food to reduce the incidence of hunger in  our community

The Petawawa Pantry, an incorporated entity with charitable status, has been in operation since 2017 to address the consequences of hunger by providing donated food to singles, families, seniors and children in need.   The food and personal care items provided include monthly allotment quantities, Special Christmas Hamper program, Easter and Thanksgiving turkeys/hams, and emergency food for persons in immediate need. 

All Board of Directors members and Pantry workers are volunteers;  therefore, all monetary donations are used for food purchases and operations expenses, ensuring the donations are spent in a manner that maximizes value and meets the needs of the Petawawa Pantry mission, vision and purpose.

The Petawawa Pantry is open Tuesdays 1-4 pm and Thursdays 6-8 pm.
