We believe in the obligation of all people, individually and collectively, to provide resources, services and opportunities to those in need, and for the benefit of Society as a whole.

About PHOENIX TRANSITION SOCIETY

The Phoenix Monument Education Project is dedicated to honour women and children who have been murdered or who have gone missing in the Prince George and surrounding area. The Phoenix Transition Society hopes to have a monument designed and constructed in Prince George. The monument will also serve as a reminder of the need for public education regarding issues of prevention of violence against women and children. One of the project’s objectives is to develop educational materials which will address eliminating the harmful stereotypes that lead to discrimination and violence and tearing down the structures that perpetuate the violence.
