Our mission is to promote participation in the arts through diverse cultural programming, exhibitions, and performances in an inviting and inclusive environment that celebrates arts and culture in Port Moody—City of the Arts.
ABOUT PORT MOODY ARTS CENTRE
The Port Moody Arts Centre is operated by the Port Moody Arts Centre Society, a non-profit community arts organization mandated to develop, promote, and celebrate the visual, performing, and literary arts in Port Moody. As a cultural hub for artistic practice and education, we offer over 380 classes annually for people of all ages and experience levels to explore their creativity in a variety of artistic disciplines, including visual, ceramic, theatre, and media arts, as well as private music lessons for more than 170 students.
The Port Moody Arts Centre is also home to a public art gallery, showcasing the work of both emerging and established artists, as well as the artist-run Blackberry Gift Shop. In addition to our arts education and exhibition programs, we also host community and fundraising events, an annual ceramics artist-in-residence, and a dynamic volunteer program.
We are continually evolving to grow our vibrant community and celebrate artistic diversity. Your donations help to bring meaningful arts and cultural programming to the Tri-Cities, inspire artistic excellence and creativity, and enrich cultural life in the region.
