The Saskatchewan Children's Festival exists to provide a multi-disciplinary celebration of the performing arts, with the goal of challenging the minds and enriching the lives of children. We aim to build community by bridging economic and societal divisions, cultivating diversity and tolerance through our programming, and creating fun, affordable experiences that bring families together.
About PotashCorp Children's Festival of Saskatchewan
Since 1988, the Festival has been part of the cultural and social ecology of the province. We are the only international and multi-disciplinary performing arts festival dedicated to the children in Saskatchewan, and we believe that creative, diverse and culturally aware communities don't happen by accident. A tolerant and vibrant society ready to face the challenges of the future results from planting seeds of inspiration, nurturing through participating and fun, and creating space for ideas to take root and reach for the sun. Imagination grows strong when we feed it the right stuff --- the confidence to try something new, the perspective to see something in a fresh way, the compassion to connect with those in a different situation.
