Our Mission
To provide trained, capable, and well equipped volunteers to assist the RCMP in the search for and recovery of people or persons lost or otherwise unaccounted for, in the rural geography surrounding, but not limited to, the Princeton area.
About PRINCETON GROUND SEARCH AND RESCUE SOCIETY
Princeton GSAR was formed in 2000.
Has 25 active members. Is part of the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen Search & Rescue (SOSSAR) teams committee.
Responds to about 15-20 callouts a year. Nearby Manning park accounts for a lot of those calls.
