Founded in 2004 under the leadership of Artistic Director Roberto Campanella & Artistic Associate Robert Glumbek, ProArteDanza is Toronto-based contemporary dance company. Created to showcase and develop the brightest talents from both ballet and modern dance backgrounds, critically acclaimed ProArteDanza offers audiences and artists alike the opportunity to experience the excitement of full-throttle physicality combined with sophisticated artistic expression.

ProArteDanza continues to build its profile as a leader in training, choreography and performance by expanding its repertoire of established works and new creations, developing education and outreach opportunities and exploring the intersecting worlds of dance and film.

Critical to ProArteDanza’s vision is investment in the next generation of contemporary dancers through our comprehensive Training Program to address the need to develop a diverse pool of talented dancers deeply fluent in a variety of dance vocabularies.
