Ability Workshop Society is a group of volunteers in Calgary, Alberta who create, built and adapt assistive devices for anyone who needs them.  We have supported the disabled community in the Calgary area since 1994 as the Calgary chapter of Tetra Society of North America.  In 2021, we became a fully independent organization with a new name:  Ability Workshop Society.  

Over the years, we've continued to grow and increase our capabilities.  With over 90 new requests for assistance every year, we continue to provide assistive devices to a vast array of people.  From cup holders to trail adaptions for wheelchairs, specialty trays to head rests and transfer boards to walker loaders for the car, our goal is to remove barriers so everyone can work, play and function easier.
