The 482 Collective is an award-winning, innovative charity located in the City of Vaughan. Our Mission is to actively reimagine how we help people by embracing the power of thoughtful and collective giving. Our goal is to give on a personal, human level, in a way that preserves the dignity of those in need. Who We Help: We support women, children, and marginalize individuals in York Region and Toronto, who are struggling to make ends meet after escaping intimate partner violence, human trafficking, financial abuse, and other gender-based violence.

Giving people what they need, not what we think they need. We recognize that leaving an abusive situation is one of the most complex and isolating experiences a person can face. We actively work to remove barriers by delivering timely and bespoke support of non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products, baby items, and kitchen essentials, at no cost to our clients—and by providing equitable access to mental health support and life skills that can help rebuild lives.
