Following David Fuga’s death, his friends rallied, and fundraised and provided programs in collaboration with Sport Central.  David was a young,  gifted athlete who excelled at hockey.  After a number of years a memorial fund was created, in part from his friends fundraising and family contributions,  at the Edmonton Community Fund with the intent to fund sport in economically disadvantaged areas.

The amount on Canadahelps does not reflect the amount of the Fund held at Edmonton Community Foundation.
