Shannon Carol Zwicker was born on Thanksgiving Day and lived her life according to her mantra: "Love is the answer!" She mothered with patience and wit, and had an uncommon ability to cultivate and celebrate her children's individuality. 

An avid gardener and an accomplished professional, Shannon leaves a legacy of contributions to the Alberta Science Network, Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan and many other worthy causes.

She started playing Chopin at 45 and learned to milk goats last month. Shannon is beloved by husband Joshua Everett Ramsbottom; children Darien Heather Zwicker, Laura Karen Kiriak, Morgan Robin Trinity Ramsbottom and Everett Richard Grayson Ramsbottom; parents Brian and Carol Zwicker; sister Heather Zwicker and sister-in-law Maureen Engel; and family including Wes and Carol Zwicker.
