At the Active Care Response Team (ACRT), we are committed to doing our part to help alleviate the suffering of Sudanese refugees living in the Adré refugee camp in Chad. To make this possible, we need your support.

In July 2025, our Executive Director, Lizzy Walker, traveled to Adré to better understand how our organization could meaningfully support the refugee community. What she witnessed was deeply concerning and consistent with reports from humanitarian organizations such as Doctors Without Borders.

The most urgent needs remain food, clean water, and essential medicines.

This campaign is focused on raising funds to purchase food and basic hygiene supplies locally in Adré, with particular attention to supporting women and children, who are among the most vulnerable.

To ensure that donations directly support those in need, ACRT volunteers will cover the cost of their own travel, allowing contributions to go fully toward the implementation of this mission and the delivery of critical aid.
