Arrabon House is a small not-for-profit organization in Toronto serving young women aged 13-24 who are in need of safe shelter, emotional support and counseling to develop positive life skills.
Arrabon offers a residential treatment home, supportive housing for transitional age youth, as well as an aftercare support and counseling program. Through these three connected programs, Arrabon provides a safe, healing environment in which young women are empowered to grow to their full potential.
Arrabon is a Greek word that signifies a promise of new things to come, of hope. The name is synonymous with the mission of our organization – we are dedicated to empowering young women who struggle with emotional and mental health issues to reach their full potential.
We provide Arrabon girls with the necessary tools, knowledge and support to understand their lives and challenges. We work with them in planning for the future and encourage them to reach their goals, while respecting the uniqueness of each young woman and providing inclusive services.
