Our mission at DARS (Dedicated Advocacy Resource Support) is to provide compassionate support and advocacy for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, food and income instability in Pickering (Region of Durham). We are committed to promoting dignity and empowering our clients through personalized navigation, access to resources, and collaborative partnerships. Our goal is to create a community space that serves as a safe and welcoming “home like” setting (no matter where that is) so our clients can receive support and assistance in achieving long-term stability. We believe that everyone deserves a place to call home and that together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in need.
