Dreams Take Flight Canada is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing the trip-of-a-lifetime to children experiencing medical, mental, physical, social or emotional challenges. Although Air Canada generously donates an aircraft for each chapter to use for one special day each year, our charity is responsible for raising the remaining funds needed to make this day possible. The money we raise is used to pay for fuel for the aircraft, admission into the theme park, food and snacks throughout the day, a brand new set of clothing for each child, and other special gifts and souvenirs to remind the child of what their magical day felt like. 

If you knew each child's story, your heart would shatter into pieces with each one. The children nominated for our flight are living with challenged childhoods. Some live in poverty, others have experienced excruciating trauma. Some are living with debilitating illnesses while others are just trying to survive their circumstances. Many don't know what it means to trust an adult, to have hope or to laugh from the inside out.

Our organization is working to change their reality. For one day, we will make all their dreams come true. As many times as we can in as many different ways as we can, we will say yes, we will show we care and we will make dreams come true.

The trip might last one day but the memories last a lifetime. Please help us give each childhood a chance. Together we can make a difference.
