Our Mission
Our mission is “changing lives and strengthening communities through the power of work” and we do that by offering Employment Services that connect job seekers to employment and employers to their workforce. Our social enterprises – including thrift stores and a catering division – give our job seeking clients hands-on training opportunities. In all we do, we also ensure people develop skills, confidence, and healthy work habits to land the job they are after and progress through their careers.
Since 1935 Goodwill Amity has harnessed the power of work to address the most pressing social, economic and environmental challenges facing our communities today: we’re a path out of poverty and towards income security for individuals and their families; we’re a catalyst for strong and healthy neighbourhoods; we’re a benchmark for sustainability in the retail marketplace.
