Who We Are: 

Since 1987, Gravelbourg Bon Ami, Inc. has provided supportive services to adults with intellectual disabilities in Gravelbourg and surrounding communities. Through safe housing options, personalized supports, and meaningful day programming, we help individuals live with independence, belonging and purpose. 

Gravelbourg Bon Ami, Inc. is funded by Saskatchewan's Ministry of Social Services (Community Living Services Division) and the Saskatchewan Housing Authority, with community donations enriching programming, activities, and quality of life. 

Our Programs: 

Group Home: A place to call home.

Our group home provides a warm, welcoming environment where residents experience stability, safety and connection. Each individual helps shape their own routines, activities and home life. 

Day Program - IPI - Skills, purpose and friendship. 

Our day program provides opportunity for learning, social connection and meaningful activities. 

Participants engage in: 

- Social-recreation programming

- Supported work experiences

- Skill-building opportunities

- Community Partnerships

The participants at the Day Program also help operate the Garage Sale we hold in March, August and November, and the Eco-Center Oil Collection Facility (Partnered by SARRC)

Supported Independent Living - Independence with Support.

The Supported Independent Living program helps individuals maintain their own homes while receiving daily support. Support workers assist with grocery shopping, meal planning, budgeting, medical appointments, household organization and community participation. Because every person's needs are different, the SIL services are fully personalized, allowing participants to live independently while staying connected and supported. 

SARCAN Recycling Depot - Work with Impact

The day program is also home to a busy SARCAN Recycling Depot. As a member-operated depot, it is part of the Bon Ami family and is funded and organized through SARC/SARCAN. This partnership provides meaningful employment opportunities, routine, and pride for participants.
