The Groupe d’action sociale et psychiatrique (Gasp des Monts) works to build a solidary Haute-Gaspésie, where everyone can find a safe place, regain dignity, and reclaim power over their own life.

At the heart of our mission is transitional housing — an essential resource for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. More than just a roof, it offers a caring pause, a moment to breathe, rebuild connections, and prepare for a lasting return to residential and social stability.

Our day centre complements this mission by providing support, listening, and group activities that promote mental health, inclusion, and solidarity. Together, these services help alleviate poverty, prevent social exclusion, and foster autonomy.

Every donation to Gasp des Monts directly supports these welcoming spaces, sustains human-centered support, and restores hope to those going through difficult times.
