Sunshine Circles Ages 4-16
Adult-led, structured play groups are designed to enhance the emotional well-being and social skills of children. They incorporate playful, cooperative, and nurturing activities to create a positive and safe environment where children can learn and develop emotionally and socially
All Inclusive Nature Play Ages 4-16
Programs include 1:1 or small group individualized programming to work on Children’s goals set by their Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) team.
Respite through FSCD is available for onsite nature and farm play experiences. Contact us for more inforamtion.
Mom and Baby Play Time Ages 0-2
Modelling and teaching about the importance of play, nature play, and healthy brain development before the age of 4 years. Moms will be referred from Alberta Family Services.
Woman's Circles
Women’s circles are a gathering of women, for women. These sisterhood meetings give women a safe space to connect, share, and empower.
Nature Play Ages 1-3 years, 4-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-12 years
Nature Play times are open, free play sessions run by a facilitator to engage children in meaningful outdoor play.
Activities include mud kitchens, puddle play, building with rocks and sticks, nature sensory bins, playing with the wind (kites, wind socks, pinwheels), magnifying glasses, cloud watching, cooking outside, and snow fort building.
Sitting Still Like a Frog (ages 5-12)
Simple mindfulness practices to help children deal with anxiety, improve concentration, and handle difficult emotions. Nature play time is included in each session.
Nature Walks
Adult-led nature walks are in the Gray Park Natural Area in Diamond Valley. It is an amazing forest experience that is just a few minutes walk from the K-12 schools.
