Sanctuary House is a non-profit organization that provides emergency shelter which offers temporary housing for women and children who are victims of domestic violence and need a safe place to stay. When a woman comes to stay, she will have access to community resources through the help of our trained staff. She will be given her own bedroom, have access to a fully stocked kitchen and laundry room, a playroom and outdoor recreational area for her children to play, as well as a common space where she can connect with the staff and other residents. This is a service provided free of charge.
