The Newfoundland & Labrador Lung Association is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to achieving healthy breathing for the people of Newfoundland & Labrador, through programs in Education, Research, and Advocacy. This is sustained by the formalized activities of fundraising, volunteerism, and organizational development.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association has a clear vision - to achieve HEALTHY BREATHING for our people, CLEAN AIR for our environment, and a province FREE OF LUNG DISEASE.
Our "Plan for Action" is built upon four pillars, organized into different programs and initiatives:
Chronic Disease - Lung Cancer, COPD, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, IPF, Sleep Apnea.
Infectious Disease - TB, flu, H1N1, hand washing, immunizations.
Air Quality - Air Quality Index, Wood Burning, Anti-Idling, Pollution Control, Pesticide Use, Radon, Scent Awareness.
Tobacco Control - Smoking Cession Programs through The Smokers Helpline.
YOU could be a Lung Champion with the NLLA! There are many ways to get involved with the Association, such as:
