In order to promote a greater understanding among all Canadians regardless of origin, the NoRooz Educational Foundation seeks to use education and cultural programs to promote a recognition of Canada's cultural identity in all it's rich diversity. We recognize that identity as encompassing the heritage brought to Canada from all continents, including Asia, Africa, Australia, all Americas, as well as Europe, and our Canadian Indigenous Peoples. The Foundation's goal is to ensure that Canadians will be equipped to benefit from the presence of immigrants that come to Canada from around the world.
The Foundation is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2015.
