About PICTOU COUNTY ROOTS FOR YOUTH SOCIETY
We are a non-profit charitable society providing services and programs to youth who are experiencing difficulties in regards to homeleness. In 2011, we have purchased a house referred to as "Roots House" where we offer our programs and services to youth ages 16-24, 7 days a week from 4pm-8pm. Some of the services and programs include but are not limited to; meals, showers, counseling, storage, advocacy and emergency accomodations.
