What began in 2000
as a grassroots community committee has grown in reach, impact, and vision. Today, we continue to build on that strong foundation by providing direct support, strengthening community knowledge, and advancing how FASD is understood and responded to across Calgary and surrounding areas
Each year, we supportmore than 1,000 individuals
impacted by FASD and their caregivers. We support individuals and their families over the lifespan, and through some of their toughest times. Through meaningful relationship-building and collaboration with community agencies and natural support, we empower individuals to pursue client-centered goals that foster healthy outcomes. We support FASD centered capacity-building across all of life’s domains, including housing, financial security, physical and mental health, community connection, and healthy relationships.
Our connectRecovery programsupports individuals
with FASD, or possible FASD, who want to address their substance use and work towards recovery through our individualized supports that are grounded in disability, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-aware principles.
