About The Pete Miller Charitable Foundation
Pete Miller (deceased) was a prolific fundraisor for York County Hospital which has been renamed The Southlake Regional Health Centre. While he was alive he would organize fundraisors and golf tournaments to assist this community hospital and throughout his lifetime he raised hundreds of thousands of dollars. In addition to his fundraising activities Pete Miller was active with the hospital's pediatric ward often dressing up as Santa Clause and delivering small gifts to the children in the hospital.Pete's children decided to create the charitable foundation to continue Pete's efforts. In five years the Foundation has raised over $120,000 for the hospital much of it assisting the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre.
