The Algoma U Foundation exists to support Algoma University by:
- Providing funding for annual entrance scholarships and special projects through the Annual Campaign.
- Providing funding for capital projects, maintenance and support through annual and endowed gifts.
- Increasing the Foundation’s endowment to meet the needs of Algoma University and its students.
- Managing endowment funds and other assets for maximum effectiveness.
About ALGOMA UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION
The Algoma U Foundation is the fundraising arm of Algoma University, and raises funds to provide scholarships, bursaries and financial support for capital and other projects to the university. Established in 1981, the Foundation currently manages an endowment of approximately $4.4 million, and provides more than half a million dollars annually to the university.
The Algoma U Alumni Advisory Council is a vital part of the Algoma U Foundation and provides essential support to the activities of the Foundation and the university.
