In our fourth annual report, the 2021 Giving Report, CanadaHelps continues to provide knowledge and insights to help Canadians understand the charitable sector and its impact on Canada.
Troubling declines in overall giving in 2020 pose a serious challenge to Canadian charities, but there were also several positive trends. Many Canadians generously gave online in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s report highlights 7 major trends in online giving, as well as success stories from over a dozen charities that were forced to adapt in the face of COVID-19.
