Impact Bridges Group is working with partners on the Turkey and Syria border.  In the immediate phase, IBG is supporting Syrian orphans as a result of the earthquake, with food, emergency medical supplies, counselling and shelter.  

Impact Bridges Group is raising funding to support both these immediate needs and then for long-term recovery.  Both countries are experiencing economic instability which has made this disaster even worse and more complicated.  As part of its strategy, IBG works through local and highly experienced organizations.  Syria's twelve-year civil war has not only left the country devastated, but has made a difficult situation much more complex.

Our main partner Together, For the Family, has found housing in Aleppo.  Its headquarters is in Lebanon.  There are five people working on this response in Syria and include a nurse and counselor.  The others are responsible for the day-to-day care support.  Impact Bridges Group is also working, in partnership, in Canada on welcoming and providing support to Syrian and other refugees.
