PLEA helps vulnerable people and their families lead their best lives.

Drawing on our history, our expertise and our hearts we work with them to overcome life’s most complex and difficult circumstances. We focus on the essentials: a person to turn to, a sense of belonging, opportunities to learn and a plan for the future. We are there in times of basic human need; when compassion, encouragement and resiliency are what matter most.

PLEA has two prevention programs which are designed to stop people from needing our more intensive services later on in life:  KidStart and Children of the Street.

KidStart is a life changing mentorship program, provides vulnerable children with a nurturing relationship, a chance to have fun and a sense of belonging

Children of the Street provides awareness, education and support to keep children and youth safe from sexual exploitation.
