Every war is a war on children. They’re the least to blame and the most at risk.

We must do everything we can to protect children in conflict zones. The already dire humanitarian situation is getting worse by the minute, giving rise to soaring needs for water, food, fuel, and other basic necessities. The situation is rapidly deteriorating at a catastrophic rate.

Save the Children condemns all violence against children in the strongest possible terms. We’re also calling for an immediate ceasefire and unimpeded access to affected areas to safely deliver vital humanitarian aid.

In moments of conflict, natural disasters, or other crises, our emergency teams and local partners support children’s urgent needs by providing food, water and medical care. We also create safe spaces for children and families to learn, play, and receive critical mental health and psychosocial support.
