Strings Attached Orchestra (SAO) is a community string orchestra in the Greater Toronto area. SAO is a registered charity whose mandate is to bring music into the community to enrich the lives of people who would otherwise have difficulty attending live orchestra concerts. SAO's mission is summarized by our tagline:
We fill our lives with music and we share it with others.
SAO prides itself on bringing string orchestra music to those who would otherwise not have an opportunity to hear live orchestra music. We play a ten month Community Concert season where we focus on bringing both full orchestra and chamber group concerts to retirement homes, hospitals, community centres, daycares and schools.
