As part of a nation-wide initiative, the Community Knowledge Exchange (CKX) City Series will be taking on Halifax, Nova Scotia this November 3rd. The CKX City Series aims to bring the public together alongside a diverse groups of innovators, leaders, and social changemakers within the city. Various activists will be taking part in the event, including poet El Jones, social innovators Rob MacNeish, Ryan Veltmeyer, and Amy Bombay, as well as activist group Noise from the North. These guest speakers will be taking on the stage to share inspiring stories and share knowledge, as well as there will be performances and networking spaces with the goal of sparking social change within Halifax.
The CKX City Series will also be touring around Vancouver on November 22, 2016, and Montreal on January 25, 2017.
