Tomorrow is World Water Day. Our friends at GlobalMedic are working hard with Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) today at an event to celebrate Word Water Day, and bring awareness to those still struggling in the Philippines as a result of Typhoon Haiyan. Today, OCWA and GlobalMedic volunteers are working together to create household water purification units to ship to families in the Philippines. They will be sending 1000 Rainfresh water purification units.
It has been several months since Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines, but many families are still feeling the impact directly. Several organizations, including GlobalMedic, are still working hard to provide long term aid to those impacted.
