Introducing the Great Canadian Giving Challenge

Untitled-1The summer can be challenging for charities – typically a time with lower supporter engagement and a decline in donations. The solution? The Great Canadian Giving Challenge! Launching this year for the first time, it encourages Canadians to donate in a typically low giving season, to help their favourite charity win a grand prize of $10,000!

Increase Donations To Your Charity This June: This is the perfect opportunity to engage with your supporters! Let them know the impact your organization could make with $10,000. Encourage them to participate by donating to your charity to increase your chances of winning. It’s easy with our ready-to-go toolkit of graphic assets, ideas for participation and social media messaging. Remember, the more donations you receive in June, the more chances you have to win!

How it Works

  1. Every dollar donated* to your charity in June via givingchallenge.ca or canadahelps.org earns your organization a chance to win a $10,000 donation
  2. Get your organization’s ready-to-go customized donation challenge page here.
  3. Share your challenge page with your supporters starting June 1 and join the conversation on social media using the hashtag #GivingChallengeCA

The Great Canadian Giving Challenge is a new initiative from CanadaHelps and GIV3, the co-founders of GivingTuesday Canada.
