Like all Canadians, at CanadaHelps our thoughts are with the people impacted by the raging wildfire in Fort McMurray. The fire has consumed over 10,000 hectares and prompted the evacuation of over 80,000 people from their homes and a change in weather is needed to bring the fire under control.
In response, CanadaHelps has activated our Crisis Relief Centre. All charities directly providing relief or fundraising in support of relief efforts, should contact us to be listed on this site. Our goal is to have as many responding charities listed on the site this week, before we email our list of over 400,000 Canadians asking them to donate in support of relief efforts.

Simply, request that your charity be added, completing this simple form here. CanadaHelps will add your charity to the site. Specifically, we will create a Fort McMurray Wildfire Relief fund for your charity and a Custom Donation Page tied to this fund. This page will then be listed on the site so donors can support your organization’s work in responding to this crisis.
