Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Efforts Underway in Indonesia

Indonesia’s city of Palu was left devastated by a tsunami about three meters high, triggered by a large 7.5-magnitude earthquake on September 28th.

The disaster has left about 70,000 displaced, 800 injured, and at least 1,558 people dead, with the number expected to climb. Food and water are limited as people desperately seek aid.

Agencies and charities are on the ground responding to the situation and are in need of donations for continued relief efforts. Charities are on the ground providing aid and evaluating what is needed for long-term rebuilding efforts. Additional charities are monitoring relief efforts and will be added to the list below.
